First Friday Art Walk, 5-8pm, 1 July 2016
Rockland’s First Friday Art Walk for July 2016 will take place from 5-8pm on 1 July.
Many Arts In Rockland members will be open, including: the Farnsworth Art Museum, The Strand Theatre, 407 Studios, Caldbeck Gallery, Yvette Torres Fine Art, Asymmetrick Arts, CMCA, The Gray Fox Gallery, Landing Gallery, Jonathan Frost Gallery & Black Hole.
CMCA’s participation marks the eagerly awaited return of First Friday Art Walks to Winter Street, previously home to Jonathan Frost Gallery, Somewhere on Winter Street, Eric Hopkins Gallery and Yvette Torres Fine Art. Arts In Rockland is delighted to welcome CMCA to the city’s vibrant arts community.

The Farnsworth Art Museum will be open to the public, free of charge.
The Strand Theatre will have a “First Friday Film” at 8pm that night, co-presented by the Farnsworth Art Museum: ‘A Space Program (about internationally acclaimed artist Tom Sachs).
Shalimar performs for an Open Studio Event at 407 Studios, with information on summer classes and shows at 6 & 8pm
Caldbeck Gallery will hold a reception for Nancy Wissemann-Widrig, Dennis Pinette, and in a group show, work by Sam Cady, David Dewey, Jeff Epstein, Bayard Hollins, K.Min, and Susan Williams.
Yvette Torres Fine Art will be showing New Maine Paintings by Samuel Gelber: “Embracing Change” The Pre-Columbian Quartet.
CMCA first First Friday will feature the newly opened Jonathan Borofsky, Alex Katz and Rollin Leonard exhibitions.
