Elizabeth Moss Galleries is proud to announce the following concurrent exhibitions: Ronald Rovner’s solo exhibition “Nachtmusik” and the group exhibition “Monhegan, on the Rock” which will be featuring artists Don Stone, Alison Hill, Carol Raybin, Marilyn Swift and Krisanne Baker. The events run from Thursday, August 4th to Saturday, October 1st, with the opening receptions at 5:00 PM on August 4th.

Ronald Rovner has created in his new body of work entitled “Nachtmusik,” a symbolic visual language that appears as a symphony of shapes and color which move to and from the page, blending color to form. Though alien to all but Rovner, the shapes and color of his pieces carry with it the familiarity of rhythm and sound of a song that we just can’t quite place.

“Monhegan, on the Rock” is a continued exploration into one of Maine’s coastal gems. From the shores of Manana to Gull Rock and into Monhegan’s village, the collection of works by artists Don Stone, Alison Hill, Carol Raybin, Marilyn Swift and Krisanne Baker takes the viewer around one of New England’s most iconic islands.
