The Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA) invites artists of all ages to take inspiration from the current exhibition, Temporality: The Process of Time to create their own original works of art during this month’s ArtLab for All Ages workshop on Saturday, December 7, from 2 to 4pm.
In this first in a series of ArtLab workshops related to the Temporality exhibition, participants will look to the trompe l’oeil or “fool the eye” works of artist Carly Glovinski, then be prompted to create small mixed media pieces based on the intricate patterning found in everyday woven textiles and unexpected surfaces.
ArtLab for All Ages takes place on the first Saturday of every month at CMCA, 21 Winter Street, Rockland.
