The Eastport Gallery, located in the historic downtown of the island city of Eastport, is now open to the public on a limited basis.
Co-op members are thrilled to be able to once again show their works in the gallery space and meet members of the art-loving public.
During August and September, the gallery is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Masks are required and visitors will be limited to six at a time.
Gallery shows will continue to be accessible through virtual means on the gallery’s website and social media pages, with online shopping also available on the website.
The gallery will hold two Happy Hour Art Talks on the deck of the gallery and streaming on Facebook live at 4 p.m. Aug. 7 and 21. The first will focus on “Art in the Virtual World Pt 1: Life in Washington County video project” and the second is on “Art in the Virtual World part 2,” about the virtual gallery and virtual Draw-a-thon projects.
