DARIA DE KONING: “Gemstones In the Hand of Their Maker”

De Koning’s lifelong fascination with gemstones veers toward minerals and specimen gems. She loves the eccentrics and the curiosities. She sets them in minimalist 18-kt settings to reward Earth’s treasures. This is the third show at Shaw featuring De Koning’s work.

EMILY FISHER: “Human Animal Interface”

Provocative narrative portraits of humans and animals. The bonds between disparate souls puts the two on equal standing. Connections between the two is deep and profound. Fisher reveals this. You know there is a story here.
