“Midsummer” opens at New Era Gallery on July 16 and runs through Aug. 2, featuring the works of three well established artists: color rich paintings by Esther Garcia Eder, sculpture in Vinalhaven stone by William Lasansky and encaustic figurative photography by Michael Seif. Each of these artists has a long and abiding relationship with the island.
The opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. July 16, and the gallery will open at 10 a.m. that day.
As we continue to navigate COVID-19 and its effects on our community and the world, the gallery asks simply that you be mindful of your own well-being and that of others, with masking at your discretion.
