Those who believe that “Portraits” pertain to a select style of media will be astonished at the breadth of work displayed at the Deer Isle Artists Association Gallery from June 27 to July 9.
Artists from around the Peninsula have created unique and vivid interpretations of this theme, resulting in a show that is sure to appeal to a very wide audience.
Appearing in this exhibition are Sara Armas, John Attanasio, Cynthia Bourque Simonds, Christopher Brumfield, Judith Felch, Ronald Harte, Jadyn LaDeau, Alice McKenna, Ellen Moore, Thomas Moore, Debra Nygaard, Jeanne Rotunda, Nicoletta Siccone, David Simonds, Cynthia Stroud-Watson, Oscar Turner, Jackie Wilson and Fabiola Zambon.
The public is invited to a reception with the artists from 3 to 5 p.m. June 30.
The next show will be “Keynote,” which runs from July 11 to 23.
