Artemis Gallery will celebrate its fifth opening reception of the season from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 3. The show will run through Aug. 16.
The current exhibition features artists such as mixed-media painter Nancy McCormick, landscape painter James O’Neil, wildlife sculptor David Sears, landscape and wildlife painter Sherry Streeter and monotype still-life artist Sharon Whitham.
A portion of the sales from the show will benefit Olympia Snowe: Women’s Leadership Institute.
Artemis Gallery is at 1 Old Firehouse Lane, Northeast Harbor. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
