Artemis Gallery will celebrate its sixth opening reception of the season from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 17.
The exhibition, which will remain on view through Aug. 30, features artists Mary Barnes, landscape and oil painter Liddy Hubbell, oil painter and abstract artist Paul Kelly, sculpturist Robert Haskell, landscape and abstract painter Maggie Hunt and oil painter Bibby Loring.
A portion of the sales from the show will benefit Mount Desert Island Hospital.
Artemis Gallery is at 1 Old Firehouse Lane, Northeast Harbor. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
