The jeweled tones of autumn offer rich inspiration to artists from around the Peninsula as they design work for the final show of the Deer Isle Artists Association summer ’23 season. Similarly, a less-crowded gallery ensures ample opportunities for “Engagement” by visitors to the gallery in Deer Isle Village.
Appearing in this show are Ben Appleby-Maguire, Cynthia Bourque Simonds, Elizabeth Braunhut, Christopher Brumfield, Mary Eaton, Jill Finsen, Susan Finsen, Jadyn LaDeau, David McBeth, Alice McKenna and David Simonds. In the Art Rack is work by Betsy Braunhut, Katama Murray, Maura Tillotson and Cynthia Stroud Watson.
A reception with the artists will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 6.
“Engagement” runs Oct. 3 to 15.
A Pop-up Holiday show will take place Nov. 3 and 4. Watch for details regarding special opportunities to engage with art and artists during the winter months.
