PEMA Smith Pemaquid Morning Watercolor
Gary Smith, “Pemaquid Morning.”

Round Pond resident Gary Smith is a passionate painter who most enjoys painting on location to capture the mood of the scene. After 32 years of painting, he states, “My style is quicker and looser each year. The more spontaneous and intuitive a painting is, the better, as long as I catch the subject and the mood.”

Pemaquid Art Gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Oct. 10 at Lighthouse Park in Bristol. For more information, visit www.pemaquidartgallery.com.
