As summer unfurls on the Maine coast, the Ogunquit Art Association (OAA) continues its 2024 season with the Mid-Season Art Exhibitions at Barn Gallery in Ogunquit, running from June 26 through July 27.
A reception was held on June 29.
The Mid-Season Exhibitions at Barn Gallery include a diverse range of artistic expressions:
OAA Expressions: Immerse yourself in a diverse and colorful showcase by OAA artists, featuring a captivating array of styles and mediums.
Regional Artists: An Open, Juried Show: Discover exceptional works by both OAA members and talented regional artists. Jurors Bob Keyes (arts journalist and storyteller, editorial director at Colby College in Waterville and chair of the Maine Arts Commission) and Andres Verzosa (executive director and curator Stanley-Whitman House, Farmington, Connecticut, board member Abbe Museum, Colby College), selected the most compelling pieces for this exhibition.
Collectors Gallery: Find the perfect piece to add to your collection with this special gallery featuring ready-to-hang artwork, all under 16×20 inches and priced at $850 or less.
Outdoor Sculpture Court: Immerse yourself in the beauty of New England with an exhibition by invited regional sculptors.
Although there is no substitute for seeing art in person, Barn Gallery offers virtual versions of their exhibitions at barngallery.org.
