July kicks off with Rockland’s first Friday Artwalk on July 5. If you are in town, come join in the fun. Galleries are open from 5 to 8 p.m. and admission to the Farnsworth Museum is free (www.farnsworthmuseum.org). Art Space will be serving refreshments and welcoming old friends and new, with its front room featured artists in July being Molly Mugler, Hannah Nelsbach and Art Schaefer (artspacemaine.com).

Other events happening in Rockland this month are on July 16 the Center for Maine Contemporary Art will host its annual and very popular Artful Living Tour featuring exceptional homes in the Mid-Coast area (cmcanow.org). On July 12, there is a Club Crawl, followed July 13 and 14 with the North Atlantic Blues Festival (www.northatlanticbluesfestival.com). And beginning July 31 through Aug. 4, Rockland will host the Lobster Festival (https://mainelobsterfestival.com).

Art Space Gallery, a fine art cooperative owned and operated by Maine artists, is located at 405 Main St., Rockland. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. See artspacemaine.com for details.
