Produced by Shop Maine Craft, the Guild Fine Craft Show will return for its 47th season with an indoor/outdoor show held at College of the Atlantic in downtown Bar Harbor from Aug. 9 to 11. The show presents a juried collection of handcrafted items by the Guild level members of the Maine Crafts Association and distinguished guests. Browse the work of 50 of the region’s finest craft artists in a beautiful setting, with opportunities to meet the artists and purchase unique handcrafted items.

The Guild shows are a well-established artist marketplace welcoming the public to see, collect and learn about the highest quality craft objects made by a membership of dedicated, talented and skilled craft artists. The show features 50 fine craft artists exhibiting handmade jewelry, ceramics, basketry, wood, metal, fiber, paper, glass, furniture and more. The show opens from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 9 and will feature a live jazz trio.

Show director Lizz Brown, of Shop Maine Craft said, “We are thrilled to return to the gorgeous campus of COA, which serves as a perfect complement to the exquisite work you will find at the show. In addition to the Guild level members of Maine Crafts Association, this year we are excited to welcome 15 guest exhibitors from New England, adding new faces, mediums and high quality work to this historic show.”
