All work sells for the enticing price of $144. Offerings change frequently. Visit the gallery or purchase art works online at www.deerisleartists.com.
When the gallery is closed, the online gallery is open 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. during this special exhibit. A reception with the artists will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. July 26.
Coming up next, from July 30 to Aug. 4, is the special Island Connections show. This exhibition is a fundraiser to benefit the Deer Isle Artists Association and the Chase Emerson Memorial Library in Deer Isle Village. The collection was assembled over a period of 50 years by a Deer Isle couple who are generously donating this varied artwork to support the community. Featured works include paintings, sculpture, ceramics and jewelry, all by artists with deep connections to Deer Isle.
Currently showing in the DIAA Gallery is “Unfolding Horizons,” which runs until July 21.
The DIAA Gallery is at 15 Main St., Deer Isle Village. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Go to www.deerisleartists.com, or call 207-348-2330 for additional information.
