‘The Art of Awakening’ at Lifeworks Chiropractic Center

“The Art of Awakening,” a solo exhibition featuring work by Amy Kustra, opens at the Lifeworks Chiropractic Center in Falmouth on Sept. 27 with an opening reception from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. with live music and refreshments.

Kustra, a Portland based artist, transitioned from a career in medicine to art and then from realism to abstraction. Sparked by a workshop in Santa Fe, New Mexico, this solo exhibition features large, colorful, abstract expressionist paintings done over the past year. Each painting offers a window into Amy’s ongoing life transitions and creative process.

Paintings are available for private viewing by appointment through January 2025.
