It was a wonderful day when Julian joined our little gallery and it was a terrible day when we lost him. But he left us with such wonderful gifts; his wisdom and warm friendship, corny jokes, a special recipe for pickled herring and bright landscape paintings of the many places he loved. Where ever he went, what ever the season or time of day, he painted.
