The annual Student Art Show at Barn Gallery in Ogunquit is back.
Imagination and energy will fill Barn Gallery to overflowing on May 6 through 8, as K-12 students from the Southern Maine Seacoast area exhibit their latest works of art.
The artistic skill and enthusiasm of the young artists will shine forth in a variety of media and subjects, including landscapes/seascapes. portraits, animals, still lifes, design, photography, sculpture, jewelry and more.
Over the decades, three generations of area families have participated in the annual Student Art Shows at Barn Gallery. The young artists participating in the exhibition this year are delighted, as were many of their parents and grandparents before them, to have their artwork in a “real” gallery.
An opening reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. May 6. Viewing hours continue from 1 to 4 p.m. on May 7 and 8.
