Jean Kigel solo exhibition ‘Coastal Muse’ at The Osprey

During October, The Osprey, at 340 Robinhood Road in Georgetown, will present “Coastal Muse,” paintings by Jean Kigel.

Twenty paintings span the coast from scenes of surf in Schoodic to scenes of beaches in Wells. Fish houses and wooden dories accent her seascapes. Some paintings derive from Kigel’s kayak expeditions and others from her hikes. Bright colors and geometric shapes abound in both her oils and her watercolors.

Currently, Kigel’s work is shown locally in Maine and in Jordan.
