Jean Kigel Studio and Gallery in Waldoboro is showing “Migration,” a collection of paintings reflecting both the change of season and movement of people worldwide.
Watercolors and oils depict flocks of birds arising from trees as leaves blow in the wind, and small sumi-e paintings abstractly symbolize migrants wandering across empty terrain.
Jean Kigel Studio + Gallery is located at 1396 Back Cove Road, Waldoboro. Despite the season, visitors are welcome every day. Call first is recommended at 207 832-5152.
