DIAA foggy day

The exhibition “Music Inspiration” will bring the “sound of art” to the Deer Isle Artists Association Gallery from June 25 to July 7.

Various mediums will be on display, including fiber, jewelry, painting, pottery, printmaking, and woodworking, all inspired by the theme of music. Appearing in this show are Marianne Alweis, Betsy Braunhut, Christopher Brumfield, Diana Coit, Ray Dinsmore, Alan Flowers, Jeri Gillin, Jean Gresham, Emily Johansen, Alice McKenna, Thomas Moore, Teri Rippeto, Jeanne Rotunda and Cynthia Stroud-Watson.

An opening reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. June 28.

The next show, “Unfolding Horizons,” begins on July 9.
