Cynthia Winings Gallery presents its first co-curated exhibition, “Be Still for a Moment.”

“Be Still for a Moment” opened June 30 at the Cynthia Winings Gallery featuring work by Avy Claire, Jonathan Mess, Stuart Shils, Ian Trask and Lari Washburn and co-curated with Avy Claire, plus artworks on view from Louise Bourne, Nina Jerome, Christine Lafuente, Robin Reynolds, Jerry Rose, Patricia Wheeler and more.

The show is on view through July 20.

The show highlights the fluid and unexpected exchanges that occur between the studio and gallery walls, shaping both artist and viewer experiences. The selected works, born from an intuitive process and internal exploration, invite chance and transcendence through playful and rigorous engagement with materials. This show encourages viewers to slow down and discover how art can change and inspire.

An installation by MP Landis will be presented in the Project Space, and sculpture in the garden by Melita Westerlund, John Wilkinson and LUNAFORM.

Cynthia Winings Gallery is at 24 Parker Point Road, Blue Hill. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Learn more at www.cynthiawiningsgallery.com, or call 917-204-4001.
