Beginning in January, the Deer Isle Artists Association will resume its Art Matters program that abruptly ended in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Art Matters 6 will include three programs in the new year, which will be held on the first Sunday afternoons of January, February and March.
Presentations by various DIAA Gallery artists will begin at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 5, Feb. 2 and March 2.
The first program, “Winter Studios,” features artists June Kellogg, Robert Starkey and Hub White, each of whom have studios in their homes. They will present their artwork with commentary. After the three artists have presented, questions and comments from the audience will be welcomed.
A reception will follow the presentations.
The DIAA Gallery is at 15 Main St., Deer Isle Village. Go to www.deerisleartists.com, or call 207-348-2330 for additional information.
