The Wine Cellar Art Gallery at John Edwards Market on Maine Street in Ellsworth is pleased to be hosting a variety of Maine artists, including Mavis Melissa Davis.
Mavis Davis is a self-taught Maine artist who loves color and loves paint. In her words, “I believe beauty is a sign of God’s mercy to humanity; I emphasize the everydayness of this.”
Paintings by Mavis will hang in the gallery throughout March.
The Wine Cellar Art Gallery is also showing work by Terre Lefferts, Patricia Rice, Renee Ober, Paul Alexandre John, Phil Barter, Josh Pouwels and William Reynolds.
