Barn Gallery

Barn Gallery in Ogunquit held its Gala Reception for Mid-Season Art Exhibitions on June 28.

This year’s Mid-Season Exhibitions include a dynamic lineup:

“OAA Expressions”: A showcase of diverse works in a wide range of styles and media by members of the Ogunquit Art Association.

Regional Artists: An Open, Juried Show: This annual favorite continues to highlight both emerging and established artists from across New England. The 2025 show is juried by Véronique Plesch, Professor of Art History and Chair of the Art Department at Colby College, and Editor of Maine Arts Journal.

Expanded Collectors Gallery: Featuring ready-to-hang artwork no larger than 16×20 inches and priced under $850, this collection is perfect for new collectors and seasoned enthusiasts alike.

Invited New England Sculptors: Outdoor sculpture installations transform the gallery’s Sculpture Court into a curated garden of form and texture.

While you’re soaking in the summer exhibitions, be sure to mark your calendar for the 71st annual Ogunquit Art Association Auction, a cornerstone cultural event in the region. This will be held at 7 p.m. Aug. 2. Doors open at 6 p.m.

As the largest annual art auction in Ogunquit, this event draws collectors and art lovers from across the East Coast for an exciting evening of competitive bidding and extraordinary finds.

Want a sneak peek? Come to the OAA Art Auction Preview, happening July 30, 31 and Aug. 1 and 2, just before the main event.
