The final show of the 2025 season at Turtle Gallery in Deer Isle will open Aug. 21. An open house will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Aug. 22, with artist talks starting at 3 p.m.
The current exhibit ends on Aug. 17.
“Trees 3.0” will feature artist books by Rebecca Goodale, prints and paintings by Holly Berry and Barbara Putnam, and work by Nicole Herz, Sharon Townshend, Sheep Jones, Conny Hatch, Michèle Ratté, Lynn Duryea, Paul Trowbridge and Elena Kubler. The show will be on display until Oct. 12.
Turtle Gallery resides in an 1876 two-story barn and outdoor sculpture garden located at 61 N. Deer Isle Road in Deer Isle. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday from May 30 to Oct. 7. For more information, visit turtlegallery.com, or call 207-348-9977.
