As the festive winter season approaches, the Deer Isle Artists Association proudly announces its traditional “Art for the Holidays,” from Dec. 12 to 20. This popular annual show and sale is scheduled to coincide with gift shopping.
Participating artists are Cynthia Bourque Simonds, Christopher Brumfield, Mary Eaton, Maureen Farr, Jill Finsen, Susan Finsen, Jeri Gillin, Jean Gresham, Patrick Keating, Susan Keating, Robin Layman, Jadyn LaDeau, David McBeth, Al Michalovic, Woodley Osborne, Recherche, Victoria Robinson, Nicoletta Siccone, Cynthia Stroud-Watson, Elizabeth True, Clare Wall and Tanya Washburn.
Artists will offer a variety of works in mediums including painting, ceramics, weaving, photography, glass, and jewelry. Buyers will be able to buy unique gifts and carry away work when it is purchased.
The gallery will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Look for the DIAA Artist in Residence program during the winter months.
