Triangle Gallery in Rockland is celebrating the opening of two new shows today, June 5, during the Rockland First Friday Art Walk.
“The Black & White Show” brings together bold black and white work by Triangle Gallery artists and runs through June 20. Upstairs through June 28 is “Interiors/Exteriors (the Nature of Nature),” a solo photography exhibition by John Woodruff. Documenting organic and inorganic elements — lichen, moss, volcanic rock and more — Woodruff creates soft, mysterious, dreamlike photographs that reveal unseen worlds, exploring scale, shape, color, pattern and process while echoing the built environment.
Gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Triangle Gallery is at 8 Elm St., Rockland. Visit trianglegallery8elm.com for more information.
