
George Marshall Store Gallery in York presents “Critters, a Tenth Iteration,” curated by Nancy Davidson and on view through Aug. 30.
The 10th installment of Davidson’s recurring exhibition features a new cast of creatures by 25 artists, with many works inspired by the York River’s tidal habitats and neighboring landscapes. Animals of all stripes crawl, climb, swim and fly throughout the gallery and its grounds.

Featured artists are Anne Alexander, Susan Amons, Laura Balombini, André Benoit, Holly Berry, Kathleen Buchanan, Clara Cohan, Seth Fitts, Jennifer Goldfinger, Lenora Leibowitz, Cabot Lyford, Aaron Margolis, Marjorie Moore, Wendy Newcomb, Patrick Plourde, Audrey Rolfe, Antoinette Schultze, Lynne Shulman, Lynn Sisler, Lesia Sochor, Michael Stasiuk, Sarah Steedman, Sharon Townshend, Andrea van Vorst van Beest and Kitty Wales.
The gallery’s lower level also features a rotating selection of work by this season’s gallery artists.
