Artemis Gallery in Northeast Harbor is presenting its sixth exhibition of the summer through Aug. 25, featuring work by Juliana Morgan Alvarez, Mark Kindschi, Christopher O’Connor, Donald Rainville, Susan Van Campen and Dietlind Vander Schaaf.
The exhibition brings together Alvarez’s ceramic sculpture, Kindschi’s forged and fabricated steel sculpture, O’Connor’s acrylic paintings, Rainville’s oil paintings, Van Campen’s watercolor and oil works and Vander Schaaf’s encaustic works.
A portion of proceeds from the exhibition will benefit College of the Atlantic and the Cody Van Heerden Chair in Economics and Quantitative Social Sciences.
The gallery’s next exhibition will feature work by Lindsay Hopkins-Weld, Jaclyn Janis, Jerry Rose and Jeanne Seronde Perkins. An opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 27.
