Cynthia Winings Gallery in Blue Hill will host an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 20 for “Wild Flower,” featuring work by Jenny Brillhart, Jeanne Paterak, Bronwyn Sale and Diane Bowie Zaitlin.
The gallery’s Project Space will feature “Laundering Abstraction,” an exhibition by Elizabeth Adams.
The reception coincides with International Observe the Moon Night, a worldwide celebration of lunar science and exploration. Blue Hill amateur astronomer Ray Santullo will set up a telescope at the gallery for visitors to view the moon during the event.
The reception is free and open to the public.
