The KAA Gallery at 2 Walker Street in Kittery, Maine, is our cultural center. The building offers fine acoustics for programs in our Music Series and two galleries for exhibits year-round. Our community consists of approximately 300 local artists who exhibit and volunteer with us. Their work is multidisciplinary – we accept artists and art appreciators of all levels and mediums. By participating and purchasing work from our silent auction, your contribution ensures the continuity of our key initiatives: • Providing scholarships for deserving high school graduates pursuing further education in the arts. • Subsidizing classes and workshops that serve children and adults in our community. We currently offer an array of adult arts workshops, youth art camps, art lessons for students of Mitchell School, an art club for homeschooled students whose parents are stationed at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. • Supporting our annual K-12 Student Art Show in collaboration with the Kittery School System. This exhibit features the work of young artists from Mitchell School, Shapleigh, and Traip Academy. In 2026 we exhibited nearly 800 pieces of student artwork. • Funding non-juried exhibitions that feature the work of hundreds of local creators each season. • Continue to collaborate with nonprofits and neighbors in our community. • Continue to offer a full schedule of Plein Air Outings to our members at various locations throughout the Seacoast. Thank you for your support in keeping the arts alive in our community! Pictured:
