The Maine Crafts Guild is pleased to announce the 7th Annual Scarborough Fine Craft Show, September 17-18, 2016 at Camp Ketcha in Scarborough, Maine
“There is nothing like finding a handcrafted work of art that speaks to your soul…when a piece of art finds its way into your hands, heart and home for a lifetime! I’ve had these experiences at the Maine Crafts Guild’s shows where the outstanding artistry and quality of work is inspiring!” – Suzanne Nance, Emmy award-winning broadcaster.

Members of the Maine Crafts Guild are selected through a jury-of-peers process. The dynamic membership is comprised of journeymen, nationally recognized masters and founding members who dedicate themselves to excellence in fine craft.

Nature is an abundant source of inspiration for Guild members. The show’s venue, Camp Ketcha, sits on 107 acres of meadows, forests, streams and wetlands and the soaring, timbered ceiling of the great room offers an inspiring backdrop for the professional artisans to showcase their heirloom-quality fine crafts. After shopping for treasures created from wood, metal, clay, natural fibers, and glass, Camp Ketcha’s extensive trail network awaits your exploration. Bring the family – their popular $5 pony rides are available to children on Saturday the 18th from 12-1pm. Alternatively, nearby Scarborough Beach State Park offers an opportunity for relaxation after a stimulating day of colors, textures and conversation.

Admission: $4 adults; under 18 free. September 17 & 18, 2016 – Sat. 10am – 5pm & Sun. 10am – 4pm. Camp Ketcha, 336 Black Point Road, Scarborough, Maine. For more information please email: scarborough.show@mainecraftsguild.com or call 207-799-3460. mainecraftsguild.com
