Belfast Creative Coalition hosts the annual ‘Cultivate: Belfast Area Farm & Art Tour’ on Saturday, October 8th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This free, family friendly tour includes gallery visits, open studios, farm tours and special workshops or demonstrations throughout the day. Join in this celebration of local artists’ studios, farms, and the unique ways in which those two overlap in Belfast and Waldo County. All sites are located within a 45-minute drive from Belfast.

To join the tour, please check in on Saturday, October 8, at our tour headquarters outside Waterfall Arts or in the gallery at Maine Farmland Trust. Maps will be available on site and online. From there, you can design your own route. Visit the studios and farms in town in Belfast or in Monroe, as many as you like and in any order.

Participating locations this year include Kenny Cole’ studio, Jerri Finch’s studio, Janalee Welch’s studio, Waterfall Arts, Maine Farmland Trust Gallery, Mainely Pottery, Lewis Cisle’s studio, Belfast Shade Company, Dan Bennet’s jewelry-making demonstrations at the Parent Gallery, Good Karma Farm, Susan Tobey White at High Street Studio and Gallery, Elwell Organic Fruit Orchard & Nursery, Kris Engman and Betty Schopmeyer’s shared studio, and more.
