Belfast Creative Coalition is accepting new members for 2017. Belfast Creative Coalition (BCC) promotes the work of artists throughout Waldo County via its website, social media, coordinated happenings, and online calendar of events. BCC is the organizer behind the Belfast Fourth Friday Art Walks, which take place monthly from May through September, as well as the Cultivate Farm & Art Tours.

Membership with BCC means that the member artist or arts organization is an active participant in the creative economy in Belfast and beyond. BCC offers collaborative marketing and promotion opportunities for artists, creative enterprises and cultural organizations, and opportunities to coordinate with other artists and groups, as well as promotion through the BCC website and social media.

Current membership opportunities include an ongoing, BCC member-only exhibit of artwork at the Belfast Bagel Café, with a different member’s work being shown there every two months; BCC has also recently introduced member profiles, interviews with member artists that are published on the BCC website and shared online, so that the public can learn more about the artists’ work. Additionally, the BCC member-exclusive e-newsletter announces Maine arts opportunities monthly.

Memberships are available at a variety of levels, and annual membership supports local arts and culture and celebrates the unique Belfast area quality of life that focuses on the local and handmade.

To learn more or to become a member of BCC, visit belfastcrativecoalition.org, call the BCC office at 207-323-8692, or email BCC Membership Coordinator Julia Clapp at [email protected].
