Mike Levine Trio: Saturday, July 22 at the gWatson Gallery

The gWatson Gallery is presenting the Mike Levine Trio with special guest Lenard Rutledge on Saturday, July 22.

Levine’s trio is comprised of three Florida-based musicians who spend summers in Maine. With Levine on piano, Ric Mosley on bass, and Steve Salo on drums the trio performs widely in Florida and each has a career that takes them to widespread venues. Levine has played at numerous festivals including the Aruba Jazz Festival, the Detroit Jazz Festival and the Montreal Jazz Festival. Joining the trio in Stonington will be baritone Lenard Rutledge, also from Florida, who is aptly compared to the legendary Lou Rawls.
