Art Space Gallery Presents New Works at First Friday Art Walk

Art Space Gallery, 405 Main Street, Rockland will participate in “Arts in Rockland” First Friday Art Walk on June 7 from 5-8.  Meet our artists Melissa Post van der burg, Hannah Nelsbach and Lori Davis in the gallery front room to view their new work and enjoy wine and refreshments.

Melissa Post van der Burg’s oils on canvas tell vivid, figurative, stories of working life on the Maine coast. For over 50 years Hannah Nelsbach has painted the world around her in various media. Her colorful images combine fantasy and realism.

Photographer Lori Davis’ new archival prints on aluminum complement the striking contrast, vibrant color, and dramatic lighting found in the natural world.

Art Space Gallery is a co operative of 15 artists in metal, wood, paintings, cards, gifts and jewelry, now in its 15 year located at 405 Main Street in Rockland. June hours: Monday – Saturday, 11 am – 5 PM and Sunday 11 AM – 2 PM.
