ArtWalk Waldoboro celebrates its fifth year anniversary with town wide celebrations during its first event of the 2019 season on Saturday, June 8th, 4 – 7 pm. Participating venues this year include art studios, galleries, and other businesses, all with their own unique celebration plans.

Exciting and interesting events are on tap for the June 8th ArtWalk: the Tidemark Gallery + Café is showing new paintings by Doug Frati; the Waldo Theatre hosts a performance by the Music Duo Joe and Lindsay Cough and offers tours of the theatre; the Philippe Guillerm Gallery is opening its new show  “Let’s Think About Our Planet – An Artist’s View and Sensitivity on Found Driftwood”; the Heywood Gallery is featuring paintings of American Realist Anne Heywood and offering collectors a chance in a drawing for a $200 gift certificate; the Waldoborough Historical Society has historical art pieces and new photos of the German Church on display; Barstow Farms Country Store includes  ArtWalk Crab Dip, ArtWalk Scallops Wrapped in Bacon, and ArtWalk Barstow Burgers on its menu.  Artist Pam Cabanas, Morse’s Sauerkraut, Old Point Comfort, Medomak Arts Project, Moody’s Diner, the Bug Tussle Annex and the Narrows Tavern are also ArtWalk Waldoboro participants; sponsors include the First National Bank and East Forty Farm.

ArtWalk Waldoboro is held every second Saturday of the month, 4 – 7 pm, from June to October. Look for the red and white ArtWalk flag to identify participating businesses; ArtWalk maps are also available.
