
Mars Hall Gallery opens the summer season on Friday night June 14th with two group shows. In the main gallery “Artists Insight”. This exhibit will showcase oil and acrylic paintings by Nancy Baker, Kris Johnson, Stephen Jonassen, Sharon Larkin, Maurice Michel Lode and Jimmy Reed; watercolors by Linda Funk, Nat Lewis, Greg Mort, Cam Noel, Elaine Reed and Eleanor Zuccola and Outsider Art by Ian Baird, Bill Nichols, Elaine Niemi and the late Rudy Rotter.
In the new wing, “Restless Spirit”, features the creative works of the late artists Leo Brooks, Bill Cook, Robert Hamilton, Manuel Rincon, Russell Smith, Carl Sublett, William Thon and Ron Weaver. Also on exhibit are works by Maurice Michel Lode, sculpture by Jay Hoagland and black & white pinhole photography by Antonia Small.
A reception will be held for both shows on Friday, June 14th, from 5-8 p.m.

The gallery also offers a variety of quality crafts including decoupage by Davene Fahy, handmade jewelry by Nance Trueworthy, and 3-D stained glass, mosaics and pottery by Dona Bergen. Metal sculptors Jay Hoagland and Brian Read will have works on display throughout the gallery as well as outside in the Sculpture Gardens. In addition are books by several gallery artists, mixed-media cards, a large collection of original 1960’s & 70’s rock posters and a variety of antiques and collectibles.
