I’m so honored to be showing alongside pioneering designer and “Prince of Plastics” Neal Small in the Midsummer Show at Schooner Gallery in Milbridge, Maine.

I will be showing a selection of small and medium-sized works, including eight pieces that are only 4″ x 4″ x 1.5″. Almost all of the works I am sending are part of my new body of work that uses canvas strips and frames organic textured paper with strict vertical or horizontal lines. I am very excited about this new work, it really represents a new level for me and I’m so excited to share it with you!

Small is renowned for his pioneering use of materials such as Plexiglas and Lucite to create furniture, lighting, home accessories and even sculpture. His works have been shown at or are part of the permanent collections of MoMA, Guggenheim Museum, The Smithsonian Institution, and more.

The show runs from July 13 – August 13 and has an opening July 13 from 4-6 PM.

I won’t be in attendance at the opening due to my health but I do encourage you to go if you are in the area!

I am also looking forward to showing with the other artists in this group show, Caryl Lynn Dufour and Paul T. Shepherd.
