Imagine taking a bite out of a painting. What would the colors and textures taste like?
Private chef Amy Kayne (2gether Private Chefs) and Portland artist Laurie Fisher will collaborate to host PALETTE + PALATE, a food and art pairing event.
Kayne will pair small plates/appetizers and wine tastings with a handful of paintings by Fisher. Kayne’s culinary vision is wildly creative, and each dish will be its own kind of art.
The event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. May 12 at The Makers Galley in Portland.
Tickets are $90 and include six food pairing and six wine tastings. Additional wine and beer will be available for purchase. You’ll get to try one bite for each painting on display and have plenty of opportunity to mingle with other food and art lovers.
