Since 2004, the Ogunquit Arts Collaborative/Barn Gallery has invited local artists who are not members of the Ogunquit Art Association to submit work for the “Regional Artists: An Open, Juried Show.”
For a small fee, any artist can enter paintings, graphics, sculpture or photographs for review by the gallery’s current juror. Past jurors have been museum directors and curators, gallery owners, art critics and other distinguished citizens of the art world.
In 2023, the gallery will once again offer area artists this opportunity to exhibit in the juried show at the Barn Gallery.
This year’s juror is Kat Zagaria Buckley, an interdisciplinary arts curator whose exhibitions reimagine the potentialities of art through collaborative junctures.
The exhibition will run from June 28 to July 29, with an opening reception from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. July 1. Delivery date is June 25 at the Barn Gallery at 3 Hartwig Lane, Ogunquit.
