Boothbay Region Art Foundation’s May/June exhibition celebrates the diverse nature of life in Maine. This first members’ exhibit of the season represents 95 regional artists and includes a wide range of mediums and styles. 

Visit the gallery from 5 to 7 p.m. June 2 during its First Friday open house and reception.

The gallery has two floors of original art work on display and features several bins of unframed pieces, both originals and reproductions, plus a “Swinging — Door” Sale consisting of original 12” by 12” paintings donated by member artists, to benefit the nonprofit’s outreach programs.

The nonprofit is entering its 60th year of continuous operation, with a mission to create opportunities for people of all ages to enjoy, learn from and participate in the visual arts.

Boothbay Region Art Foundation is at 1 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. See www.boothbayartists.org for more information.
