The 95th season of the Pemaquid Art Gallery is about to begin!

An opening reception will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. June 4 (free entrance to Lighthouse Park). Light refreshments will be served. All new artwork will be shown.

The Pemaquid Group of Artists holds one of the longest continuous seasonal art exhibitions in Maine. The group formed in 1928 and showed work in various area locations until 1960, when, together with the town of Bristol, the current building was erected to establish a permanent gallery.

There are 32 juried artists who participate each year, all of whom are full- or part-time residents of Lincoln County.

Located in Lighthouse Park, Bristol, the gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Oct. 9.
