Saltwater Artists Gallery in New Harbor will host its first Plein Air Day at Pemaquid Point from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. June 22.

The event will kick off with an artists’ breakfast provided by the Sea Gull Shop Restaurant. The event will include a “wet paint” sale, and the day will finish with an awards ceremony judged by highly regarded artist J.C. Airoldi, a member of the prestigious Guild of Boston Artists.

Saltwater Artists Gallery is a non-profit, owned and operated by the 25 member artists. For 56 years the gallery’s exhibits have included a wide variety of media including painting, photography, printmaking, pastels, sculpture, woodturning, glass, jewelry, pottery and fiber arts. The gallery is located at 3056 Bristol Road in New Harbor.
