After a very wet and cool June, Art Space Gallery is looking forward to the arrival of summer and those perfect summer days that Maine is famous for.

The gallery will participate in the First Friday Art Walk in Rockland on July 7 from 5 to 8 p.m., welcoming visitors with lovely art and refreshments.

This month, the Front Room will feature the works of Janalee Welch, Shelley Nolan and Ann Rhinehardt.

July is also when the North Atlantic Blues Festival is held in Rockland, featuring blues artists from the U.S. and abroad. This event is held in Harbor Park overlooking Penobscot Bay on July 15 and 16. For more information on this event go to www.northatlanticbluesfestival.com.
