
Be part of embracing a momentous milestone, as the Ogunquit Art Association, Maine’s original artists’ group (est 1928), celebrates a remarkable 95 years of fostering creativity and expression through a captivating blend of exhibitions, gallery talks, demonstrations, workshops and more.
The exciting season of art exhibitions and programs by artists of the Ogunquit Art Association continues with the late summer exhibitions, which run Aug. 9 through Sept. 9.
The Gala Reception for these exhibitions will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 19, and admission is free.
The late summer exhibitions will unfurl a tapestry of artistic narratives, featuring “OAA Expressions,” where diverse subjects and mediums converge; Artist Showcases featuring the work of Janet Ledoux (painter) and Anne Strout (painter); the Expanded Collectors Gallery, featuring ready-to-hang artwork, no larger than 16×20 inches; plus an Invited New England Sculptors exhibit in the outdoor Sculpture Court.
A gallery talk will be held at 6 p.m. Aug. 17 with Showcase Artists Janet Ledoux and Anne Strout, both of whom are painters. Guests can meet the artists, see their work, learn about their processes and ask questions. Admission to the talk is free.

Although there is no substitution for seeing art in person, virtual versions of each exhibition will be made available on barngallery.org, and much of the work exhibited will additionally be shared on the Barn Gallery Facebook and Instagram accounts.
