The Sohns Gallery, located within The Rock and Art Shop, is pleased to present its upcoming exhibition entitled “New Paintings by James Linehan”. The exhibition will run from October 2nd to November 12th.

James Linehan has been an integral figure in the art world since 1978, balancing his roles as a prolific painter and dedicated educator at the University of Maine. While Linehan’s works have been featured worldwide, he has been a cornerstone of Maine’s art community since 1983. Over the past 25 years, he has contributed to more than 150 group exhibitions and has held 20 solo shows.
Traditionally known for his bright and tranquil landscapes, this exhibition at The Sohns Gallery will introduce visitors to Linehan’s debut in abstract art. Visitors will be privy to Linehan’s captivating shift into the abstract realm, underscoring his fervent passion and innate ability to innovate and traverse various artistic styles.
By hosting James Linehan’s new abstract collection, The Sohns Gallery reaffirms its dedication to showcasing contemporary art forms where patrons are consistently presented with refreshing perspectives.
