Annex Arts will be welcoming several artists-in-residence this summer and many opportunities to meet them, take workshops, see demonstrations, and celebrate the arts.
“BEING HERE” artist, curator and arts organizer Tessa Greene O’Brien, is artist-in-residence for the month of June. O’Brien has invited several artists to join her in-residence during this time, and has introduced us to artists who will be included in exhibitions hosted by gallery b. Joining O’Brien in residence will be Emily Ferrante, New Orleans; Jeane Cohen, New York; Annika Early, Belfast; Alice Jones, Portland; and others. “BEING HERE” will be on exhibit July 1 to 9.
“Strawberry Moon,” on view May 25 to June 12 at gallery b, features new works by Kelly Carmody, Jenny McGee Dougherty, Tessa Greene O’Brien, Hilary Irons, Alice Jones, Raquel Miller, Jenna Pirello, Sarah Sackville, Christina Thwaites, Carla Weeks, Hannah Bureau, Louise Bourne, Sandys Moore, Goody-B. Wiseman and others.
