This event is held rain or shine. Free parking is available at 120 Free St., Portland.
This festive, single-day, outdoor event features the work of over 100 juried fine craft exhibitors from all over Maine and the greater Northeast. Attendees can expect to find a wide variety of exceptional and high quality work in the following media categories: basketry, ceramics, decorative and wearable fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed-media, paper, printmaking, stone and wood.
In addition to the vibrant mix of exhibitors, the show will feature demonstrations of craft techniques at the demonstration booth scheduled throughout the day, outreach booths spotlighting New England arts organizations, as well as craft guilds and schools. Attendees are invited to participate in demonstrations and vote for their favorite exhibitor at the Shop Maine Craft Information Booth to win the 2024 People’s Choice Award.
“Our organization is excited to bring back the show for another year,” says show director Simonne Feeney. “It’s a celebration of the incredible talent and creativity of our craft community and nurtures an appreciation for work that is handmade.”
Attendees will find a mix of familiar artists and newly juried makers.
